Sinopse: The Walking Dead conta a história de um grupo de humanos que luta pelas suas próprias vidas após o Z-DAY. Não sabem o que é o Z-DAY? Na cultura pop o zday é o dia em que os mortos voltam a andar, Z-DAY = Dia dos Zombies ou Zombie Apocalipse. A história tem como ponto central o personagem Rick Grimes, policia que entrou em coma após ser atingido por um tiro numa acção de rotina, durante o seu coma ocorre o Z-Day, e ao acordar ele percebe que as coisas estão fora do normal, e ele vai em busca da sua esposa Lori Grimes e do seu filho Carl Grimes...
